FCT residents loot NEMA warehouse due to economic hardship in Nigeria

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja are currently looting the warehouse of the National Emergency Agency (NEMA).

The residents who say they are hungry stormed the warehouse located in Karimo, Phase 3 Region of the FCT, broke into it and began to cart away any food items they could lay their hands on.

The spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident to newsmen and added that it has been brought under control.
