Tragedy struck the Kenyan community in Finland when the news about the death of a Kenyan woman and daughter broke out.
The women who disappeared in Tahko in Kuopio had been dead for almost a week until they were found.
According to Ilta Sanomat “the information about the sad fate of the female entrepreneurs living in Iisalmi of African descent was revealed to the public only on Wednesday, but the date of death of both has been marked as February 4, i.e. Saturday.” The police did not find the women’s bodies until almost a week later, on Thursday, February 9.
The police in Eastern Finland have so far been silent about the investigations into the causes of death of the women. No crime is suspected in the case. According to the newspaper, the deceased were a 43-year-old mother and her 20-year-old daughter.
The Kenyan Finnish society, KEFISO RY in their Facebook page has officially announced the death of the two women.
