Today, 9th June, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Finland and the Baltic Countries, H.E. Mr. Taissir Al-Adjouri, received Ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries accredited to Finland at the Mission office in Helsinki.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Mission of Palestine to the Republic of Finland and the Baltic Countries, the fruitful meeting was attended by Ambassadors of Tunisia, Algeria, Iraq, the Kingdom of Suadi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Iran, Malaysia, Egypt, and Indonesia.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Adjouri briefed Ambassadors on the latest developments in occupied Palestine and the daily Israeli violations of all principles of International Law and International Humanitarian Law against the Palestinian people and Islamic and Christian holy sites.
For their part, Ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries expressed their solidarity with the legitimate rights of Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
It is also worth mentioning that Ambassadors are preparing to hold an official meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Pekka Haavisto concerning the Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.
