Finland: About 580,000 (13.0%) people have voted in the advance voting

Voters have continued to exercise their voting right in the advance voting period which will end on June 8. Today is the 7th day, and according to the figure released by the election body this morning, close to 580,000 electorates have casted their votes which accounts for 13.0% of the eligible voters.

Finland’s eligible voters is 4460295 (Gentlemen 2186306, ladies 2273989)

Vantaa, the city with the highest number of people of immigrant background (22%) have recorded 21,345 votes, Espoo ( 19.1) 27, 412 votes and Helsinki 76,394 votes.

The election was supposed to hold on April 18 but it was postponed to June 13 because of the Covid-19 pandemic
