Finnish Parliamentary Election: Suldaan Said Ahmed not elected

Suldaan Said Ahmed, the Left Alliance candidate for the Parliamentary election will not be renewing his seat in the Parliament after failing to get the required votes. The first Somalian-born member of the Finnish parliament got a total of 1658 votes.

During the last election, the Finnish MP who is also the Helsinki City Councillor for the Left Alliance pulled up a total 2492 votes.
