Helsinki City Chairperson Fatim Diarra Wins Parliamentary Election

The Helsinki City Chairperson , Fatim Diarra of The Greens has won the Parliamentary election for the first time after amassing a total of 6736 votes. She is one of the candidates with foreign background who had a rigorous campaign ahead of the election .

During the last election, the Helsinki City councillor whose father is from Mali got 4552 votes which was not good enough to take her to the Finnish Parliament.

Fatim will he heading to the Parliament after amassing a total 6736

Fatim Diarra’s election promises are:

I promise to promote a policy that is in line with my values. I stand up for equality and the human rights of all people. As well as I promise to be honest even in a tight spot. Because then we measure how the back holds up to seawater.

I am not cutting back on education, but I understand that high-quality, free education is a prerequisite for survival for a small country.

I understand that climate change is real and I strive to make decisions that take into account their impact on the climate. I am not prepared to compromise on our carbon
